UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND. Specimen similar to ANTIOCHIA 54a except for obv. legend IMP DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG instead of IMP C DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG. Note also sloppy engraved LI in rev. legend.

This coin is formally unlisted in RIC but in fact belongs to the group of rather deceptive forgeries. Apparently this time counterfeiter made a mistake and mixed up his dies.

See four examples of RIC VI ANTIOCHIA 54a from the same reverse die:
- Tietjen (auction 127, lot 476, 10.27 g);
- Kölner Münzkabinett Tyll Kroha (auction 103, lot 699, 12.61 g);
- Münzkabinett der Universität Göttingen (no. BA-0303, 11.014 g, 28.44);
- eBay (April 2022).

And one example of RIC VI ANTIOCHIA 55b (Galerius Maximian) from the same reverse die:
- Aureo & Calicó (auction 394, lot 1287, 6.51 g (sic!)).

Certainly these coins are also fakes [Thanks to the collaboration of Din X, Pekka K and Joshmaggosh].
