OBVERSE

FLIVLCRISPVSNOBCAES [FL IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir.

REVERSE

PROVIDEN-TIAECAESS [PROVIDENTIAE CAESS]; camp gate, two turrets, no doors, star above, varying number of stone layers. Dot in arch. PLON in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED ISSUE. Specimen similar to LONDON 295 except for dot in arch. RIC does not list issue with dot over PLON in m.m. However, dot in arch is mentioned in footnotes 293 and 296 on p. 116 (for Constantine's I and Constantine's II coins). The relatively large number of known specimens suggests, that this dot belongs to m.m. of separate issue. Coin should be listed after LONDON 300.
