REVERSE

[GLOR-IAE]XERC-ITVS [GLORIA EXERCITVS]; two soldiers, helmeted, stg. front, looking at each other; each holds spear and rests hand on shield; between them, one standard. Pellet on standard. PCONST in exergue.

UNLISTED ISSUE. Specimen similar to unlisted ARLES [after 414] except for pellet (or sometimes very small annulet) on standard instead of annulet. It could be regarded as an irrelevant variety of annulet or as a mark of an unlisted issue. Coin should be listed after ARLES 411.
