REVERSE

[GLOR]-IAEXERC-ITVS [GLORIA EXERCITVS]; two soldiers, helmeted, stg. front, looking at each other; each holds spear and rests hand on shield; between them, one standard. Pellet on standard. PCONST in exergue.

UNLISTED ISSUE. Specimen similar to ARLES 412 (eBay, 1.40 g, 15 mm) except for pellet (or sometimes very small annulet) on standard instead of annulet. It could be regarded as an irrelevant variety of annulet or as a mark of an unlisted issue. Coin should be listed after ARLES 411.
