MINTMARK VARIETY. Unusual mintmark with dot instead of dot over crescent. Probably an ancient imitation. Note that this specimen could be regarded as a hybrid with reverse TRIER 475. However, similar coin minted for Crispus [TRIER 476] with rev. legend PROVIDENTIAE AVGG is not considered a hybrid! Yet another inconsistency in RIC.
