OBVERSE

IVLCRISPVSNOBCAES [IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir., spear across r. shoulder, shield on l. arm [G5 var.].

REVERSE

BEATATRAN-QVILLITAS [BEATA TRANQVILLITAS]; globe set on altar inscribed VO/TIS/XX; above, three stars. •STR• in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - G5 var.. Not attested for obv. legend 5a (p. 197). Bust similar to G5, but cuirassed and draped. Listed in RMBT (p. 54, no. 141; bust type 11r described as "Panzer und Paludament") with •PTR• in exergue. However, the specimen shown on plate XIV (see below) comes probably from officina S. Coin should be listed before TRIER 372.

NOTES

Weight 3.63 g; diameter 20 mm. From CGB E-shop (brm_336775), sold for EUR 850.
