RIC VII, TRIER [after 326], CONSTANTINE II, UNLISTED BUST TYPE [G11 var.] [IRREGULAR COIN]

OBVERSE

CONSTANTINV•SIVNNOBC [CONSTANTINV•S IVN NOB C]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir., spear across r. shoulder, holding horse by bridle with l. hand [G11 var.].

REVERSE

BEATATRAN-QVILLITAS [BEATA TRANQVILLITAS]; globe set on altar inscribed VO/TIS/XX; above, three stars. PTR in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - G11 var. Not attested for obv. legend 7a (p. 192). Bust type similar to G11 except for bust draped and cuirassed instead of cuirassed only. Not listed in RMBT. Note, however, crude style (especially globe on rev.) and lettering (especially on rev., but note also dot in CONSTANTINVS). Apparently an ancient imitation. Could be noted in RIC after TRIER 326.
