UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND. Not attested for Soli rev. from this issue (p. 360). Existence of this coin, TICINUM [after 4], with long obv. legend (IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG) and rev. typical for earlier Soli issue, listed in RIC VI (Sol with chlamys over l. shoulder and hanging behind), suggests that introduction of this long obv. legend for slightly changed Soli issue (Sol with chlamys over l. shoulder only) appeared before TICINUM 7 (ANS 1944.100.9523, 3.09 g, 20 mm). Probably simultaneously with Marti issue. Cf. TICINUM 5 (Leu web 26, lot 5317, 3.51 g, 20 mm) and TICINUM 6 (ANS 1944.100.9522, 3.26 g, 20 mm).

Note, however, that this issue is indistinguishable from the later issue TICINUM 62-64. Since both issues are rather rare, the present author decided to gather all known specimens here, which may allow to find some stylistic differences between these two issues (weight and diameter of the die are virtually identical)

Could be listed in RIC before TICINUM 1.
