NOT IN RIC
|
UNLISTED BUST TYPE - B3. Not attested for obv. legend 5b and this rev. legend (p. 376). But cf. TICINUM 111 with the same obv. and shorter rev. legend PRINCIPI IVVENTVT (slip in description?). Cf. also TICINUM 113 (BM 1867,0101.892; 2.26 g; cited in RIC) with the same bust type and rev. legend. Note that RIC erroneously gives rev. legend as PRINCIPI-IVVENTVTIS instead of PRINCIPIIVVENTVTIS (unbroken, with dot).
Listed in Depeyrot (p. 74, no. 20/2; not illustrated) with assumption that RIC lists as TICINUM 112 two varieties: with bust B3 and with bust B4. Should be listed in RIC before TICINUM 112.
