UNLISTED OFFICINA - Q. RIC does not specify officina letter for ROME 396 (p. 345). Footnote 396 on p. 345 reads as follows: "LRBC [Late Roman Bronze Coinage] 571 records the R*Q as the normal mark and the variety with a wreath in the rev. field as an additional mark. No wreathless coins are known except for this FH [Fayoum Hoard] specimen; conceivably the missing wreath is due to inaccurate description". The specimen shown here has no identifable wreath on rev. but is in rather poor condition. Possibly an imitative coin. See also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 88.
