CONS-TANTINVS [CONSTANTINVS]; bust r., helmeted, cuir.

REVERSE

VIRTV-[SAVGG] [VIRTVS AVGG]; camp gate with four turrets, gate closed; six stone layers. P in left field, R in right field. RP in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED REVERSE TYPE. RIC lists type with four turrets only with no doors and with open doors (p. 316-317). But note obv. legend and crude lettering. Apparently an ancient imitation.

NOTES

Weight 2.38 g; diameter 20 mm. Coin sold on eBay in August 2012 for USD 175.
