|
UNLISTED ISSUE. Probably belongs to the group minted in 314-315 with pattern R*P in exergue: Liberator Orbis and Pax Perpetua Augg Nn. Although m.m. is illegible, obv. style suggests Rome. Note that similar rev. with slightly different legend (AVGGG NNN instead of AVGG NN) was earlier in use in Ostia (cf. OSTIA [after 100], CONSTANTINE, UNLISTED ISSUE [VICTORIA AET AVGGG NNN]). Coin should be listed in RIC after ROME 17.
