REVERSE	VIRTVSCON-STANTINICAES [VIRTVS CONSTANTINI CAES]; prince in military dress, advancing r., transverse spear in r. hand, trophy across l. shoulder, cloak flying forward, spurning captive sitting on ground. SMN in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	[CORRECTION]. RIC lists only single specimen from Paris with unusual reverse legend VIRTVS CONSTANTINI CAVS which is apparently an engraver's error (cited after Maurice, Numismatique constantinienne, vol. III, Paris 1912, p. 65, no. XXIII; see picture from plate III, no. 7; weight 4.50 g). Note, however, that the heavier pieces may be reagrded as multiples (medallions of 1¼ solidi) and therefore listed as an unknown issue after NICOMEDIA 102.
