NOT IN RIC
|
[CORRECTION]. RIC cites unique specimen from Vienna and erroneously marks bust type as J2 l. [laur., cuir., mappa in l. hand]. Actually, it is a variety of bust type L2 l. or L3 l. Listed in Collezione Sabetta (p. 48, no. 59). Listed in Bastien Lyon (294-316) (p. 256, no. 589). Note that Bastien cites the same specimen from Vienna, but according to him, Emperor is holding in l. hand sceptre or parazonium.
