MINTMARK VARIETY. Coin similar to LYONS 275 (Münz Zentrum Rheinland 184, lot 762, 1.22 g, 15 mm) except for PLVG in exergue instead of PLG. Apparently an ancient imitation made after 360 when the PLVG m.m. was used on official emissions. But note that the whole issue LYONS 271-275 (i.e. also LYONS 275) is omitted in Bastien Lyon (318-337) and all these coins probably should be regarded as ancient imitations.
