OBVERSE	VRBS-ROMA [VRBS ROMA]; bust l., helmet with plume (see CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 88), wearing imperial cloak.
REVERSE	Victory stg. l. on prow, holding spear and shield. PLG• in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	HYBRID, ENGRAVER'S ERROR OR UNLISTD ISSUE. Obverse with VRBS ROMA type and reverse with CONSTANTINOPOLIS type. RIC does not list PLG• m.m. Could be an engraver's error but more probably the coin is an ancient imitation.

NOTES

Weight 1.75 g; diameter 16 mm. Coin sold on CGB Monnaies 27 (lot 445) in October 2006 for EUR 275.
