ENGRAVER'S ERROR. Specimen similar to LYONS 246 except for obv. legend: CONSTANTINOPOLI instead of CONSTANTINOPOLIS. Could be an engraver's error. Note that variety CONSTANTINOPOLI is a correct legend in Heraclea, Constantinople, Nicomedia and Cyzicus. See also Bruun's footnote 246 on p. 138: "A slightly lighter specimen in Ox, off. P, obv. legend CONSTANT-INOPOLI". Possibly an ancient imitation.
