UNLISTED BUST TYPE - I1 l. var. Not attested for obv. legend 1a (p. 125). Note, however, that this type is erroneously listed in RIC with wrong obv. legend (1c instead 1a) as LYONS 61. See also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 125-126. For varieties of bust types I1 and I2 see CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 89-90.

Note that description of the presented specimen matches description of type listed in Bastien Lyon (294-316) (p. 258, no. 603). However, the picture of no. 603 (plate LXVI) shows that Bastien's coin has different rev. - Sol is stg. r. with chlamys spread. See LYONS [after 62], CONSTANTINE I, UNLISTED BUST TYPE [I1 l. var.]

Should be listed in RIC after LYONS 53.
