NOT IN RIC	UNLISTED MINTMARK. Specimen similar to LYONS 214 except for dot in m.m. instead of crescent (p. 135). Bruun mentions this variety in footnote 217 on p. 135: "In addition 2 shorter marks known: C/PLG in C, C/PLG• in Ox. It is quite possible that the first m.m. of our list was preceded by such short marks" (p. 135). Listed in Bastien Lyon (318-337) (p. 165, no. 171). Should be listed in RIC before LYONS 214.
