REVERSE	PRINCIPIAI-VVENTVTIS [PRINCIPIA IVVENTVTIS]; Emperor in military dress stg. r., cloak spread, holding transverse spear and globe. Crescent in left field. PLN in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this issue for Constantine I only [LONDON 132] (p. 105). For Crispus and Constantine II another variant of reverse is attested: prince helmeted and leaning on reversed spear, l. hand resting on shield (see picture 135 on plate 1).
