MON-ETA[A]-VGG [MONETA AVGG]; three Monetae stg. l., each holding scale and cornucopiae. SMHT in exergue.

UNLISTED ISSUE. Not attested in RIC VI or VII. Not listed in Gnecchi II. Probably minted after re-capturing the mint of Heraclea during the war with Maximinus.

Note that this medallion is poorly preserved and one may read the mintmark also as SMNT, i.e. as for medallion from Nicomedia. However, it would be very unexpected mintmark at that time, because during Licinius' lifetime Nicomedia used exclusively Greek letters as officina mark. Consequently, there is still no reasonable explanation what at that time could mean "T" in SMNT.

Therefore the present author believes that it should be listed in RIC after HERACLEA 4.
