IMPLICI-NIVSAVG [IMP LICINIVS AVG]; bust l., laur., dr., globe, sceptre in l. hand, thunderbolt in r. hand.

REVERSE

PROVIDENT-IAEAVGGNN [PROVIDENTIAE AVGG NN]; camp gate with three turrets, no doors; varying number of stone layers. A in right field. SMHT in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED ISSUE. Coin similar to HERACLEA 14 except for exergual mark. Probably from the earliest campgate issue minted in 315. Note that bust is slightly different from usual J1: Emperor has in r. hand thunderbolt instead of mappa. Coin should be listed before HERACLEA 14.

Weight 3.65 g; diameter 20 mm. Coin sold on eBay in June 2011 for EUR 424.
