UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND, MINTMARK VARIETY. Coins from Gloria exercitus series with three dots over two standards were minted only in Heraclea [HERACLEA 126-128]. However, this specimen has no proper m.m. (SMH + officina letter). It could be an engraver's error but the combination of bust type E8 and short obv. legend CONSTANTINVS AVG (instead of CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG) is not attested for Heraclea. Also, coin may be regarded as an ancient imitation. Coin should be listed before HERACLEA 126.
