OBVERSE

FLIVLCONSTANTIVSNOBC [FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir.

REVERSE

GLOR-IAEXERC-ITVS [GLORIA EXERCITVS]; two soldiers helmeted, stg. facing one another, reversed spear in outer hands, inner hands on shields resting on ground; between them two standards. CONSO in exergue.

MINTMARK VARIETY. Specimen similar to CONSTANTINOPLE 61 except for strange m.m. "O" is not a proper letter for officina number. It could be a distorted Θ or S but note also some stylistic peculiarities: something like pearl necklace on Constantius' neck (usually a part of cuirass) and pearl decoration of paludamentum. Also green deposits on smooth clenaed surface looks artificial. Possibly a modern forgery.
