OBVERSE

CONSTANTIVSCAESAR [CONSTANTIVS CAESAR]; four standards. •CONSI• in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

[CORRECTION]. For CONSTANTINOPLE 56 RIC lists in error bust type B5 (cuirassed only). The unique specimen from officina I is cited after "Maur. [Maurice, Numismatique constantinienne] ii, pl. XVI. 7" (footnote 56 on p. 578), but picture 7 on plate XVI shows bust type B4 (cuirassed and draped). It is also confirmed by description in Maurice: "buste lauré, drapé et cuirassé à droite" (ii, p. 544).
