UNLISTED OBVERSE - ANEPIGRAPHIC. Variety not attested in RIC. According to Victor Clark, this type was known to Voetter (cf. Otto Voetter, Constantinvs Junior. Insbesonders seine Münzen als Augustus und die gleichzeitigen Kupferprägungen in den römischen Münzstätten, Wien 1909, p. 9; example from officina B [click for picture] and Maurice (cf. Jules Maurice, Numismatique constantinienne, vol. II, Paris 1911, p. 514: "Une pièce du musée de Gothe présente une tête diadémée sans légende"), then forgotten and rediscovered circa 1989 (cf. R.S. Speck and Stephen M. Huston, Constantine's Dafne Coinage at Constantinople, San Francisco 1992; two coins from officina A and one from officina S). See also CORRIGENDA, VOL.
