RIC VII, CONSTANTINOPLE 135A/-, CONSTANTINE II, HYBRID OR UNLISTED ISSUE
OBVERSE
ANEPIGRAPHIC (no legend); head r. with plain diadem, looking upwards.
REVERSE
CONSTAN-TINVSAVG [CONSTANTINVS AVG]; Victory advancing l., holding wreath, palm branch. CH in exergue.

NOT IN RIC
HYBRID OR UNLISTED ISSUE. RIC lists this issue only for Constantine II [CONSTANTINOPLE 135A, in "Addenda and Corrigenda" (p. 719)], Constans [CONSTANTINOPLE 136] and Dalmatius [CONSTANTINOPLE 136A, in "Addenda and Corrigenda" (p. 719)].
Rev. legend CONSTANTINVS AVG suggests Constantine I but plain diadem on obv. is highly unexpected for him. Thus this coin may be a hybrid with obverse of Constantine II [CONSTANTINOPLE 135A] and reverse of unlisted Constantine I [before CONSTANTINOPLE 135A] or unlisted issue minted for Constantine II as Augustus immediately after the death of his father and using old dies.
