|
UNLISTED REVERSE TYPE. Similar to rev. of ARLES 70 (Wien RÖ 61015; 3.43 g, 20.2 mm; cited in RIC) except for Victory standing instead of seated and captive seated l. Also the inscription on shield is different. Listed in Collezione Sabetta (p. 57, no. 149). Listed in Antibes Hoard (p. 345, no. 456) with bust described as cuirassed only (which may be correct), m.m. as PARL (which is probably not correct) and inscription on shield as VOT/IS (which is almost certainly not correct). Specimen from Antibes Hoard is listed in Ferrando (p. 107, no. 373) with the same description. Coin should be listed in RIC after ARLES 70.
