REVERSE

GLOR-[IAEXERC]-ITVS [GLORIA EXERCITVS]; two soldiers, helmeted, stg. front, looking at each other; each holds spear and rests hand on shield; between them, one standard. Pellet on standard. PCONST in exergue.

UNLISTED ISSUE. Specimen similar to unlisted ARLES [before 412] except for pellet on standard instead of annulet. Note that on some specimens sign on standard may be regarded as a small annulet and also the whole variety could be regarded as an insignificant variety of the later annulet issue.
