IMPCONSTANTINVSPFAVG [IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG]; bust r., laur., wearing trabea, eagle-tipped sceptre in r. hand, Victory on globe in l. [K4 var.].

REVERSE

R[ECV]PER-ATO-RIVRBSVAE [RECVPERATORI VRB SVAE]; Emperor std. l. on cuir.,; behind, a shield; receives from soldier Victory on globe. S[ARL] in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - K4 var. Not attested for obv. legend 1 and this type of rev. (p. 237). Similar to bust type K4 except for Victory on globe instead of globe only. Note that badly worn specimen from Paris is listed in RIC as ARLES 34 with bust type I1 and incorrect rev. legend (RECVPERATOR instead of RECVPERATORI). Listed in Ferrando (p. 67, no. 22). Should be listed in RIC after ARLES 33.
