REVERSE	IOVICONS-ERVATORIAVGG [IOVI CONSERVATORI AVGG]; Jupiter stg. l., chlamys across l. shoulder, leaning on sceptre, holding Victory on globe. Star in left field, ΔЄ in right field. ANT in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this type only for Licinius I (p. 680). General note from p. 668: "Constantine is relatively equally represented in all these series. The same reverse was, however, continued in a new and very rare mark , the only obverse of which was the Licinian one. The conclusion that this mark was issued during Civil War I is unavoidable". Also in footnote 24 on p. 680 Bruun claims that "this type was very likely struck during Civil War I in 316 and should, therefore, actually precede the gold issue of 317". Coins minted for Constantine I invalidate this hypothesis. Coin should be listed before ANTIOCH 24.
