PROVIDEN-TIAEAVGG [PROVIDENTIAE AVGG]; camp gate with two turrets, no doors, varying number of stone layers; star above. Wreath in left field, II in right field. SMAL• in exergue.

UNLISTED OBVERSE. RIC list this type of obverse (legend 1a and bust B1) only for the first part of this issue (ALEXANDRIA 49, p. 710), with no dot after SMAL in exergue. Also LRBC omits this obverse for Constantine (p. 32). Coin should be listed before ALEXANDRIA 54.
