Æ TRIAL PIECE. Æ specimen similar to gold TREVERI 817a except for TR in m.m. instead of PTR. See example of TREVERI 817c from the same issue and with identical reverse (Münzkabinett of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin Collection, reg. no. 18202536; weight 4.28 g; diameter 17 mm). Possibly an Æ trial piece or an ancient forgery.
