UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this issue only for Maximinus and Licinius. At the first glance it seems to be an engraver's error in obv. legend (MAXIMIANVS instead of MAXIMINVS) because after Carnuntum Galerius is omitted in Constantine's mints. However, the portrait does not resemble those of Maximinus. One might even describe it as a portrait of Constantine (compare TREVERI [after 855]) with some attributes of Galerius (beard and moustache). Coin should be listed before TREVERI 844a.
