NOT IN RIC
|
[CORRECTION]. Obv. legend is: FL VAL CONSTANTIVS NOB CAES and should be: FLA VAL CONSTANTIVS NOB CAES. Also bust type (C) is erroneously described as "R., laur., dr." (p. 279) and should be: R., laur., dr., cuir. The traces of cuirass are clearly visible, especially near the neck, on the example from the British Museum which is cited in RIC.
Listed in Depeyrot (p. 68, no. 5/3) with the same error in obv. legend. Bust type described correctly: "Lauré, drapé, cuirassé".
All three specimens share the same obv. die. BM specimen has different rev. die.
