OBVERSE

CONSTANTINVSPFAVG [CONSTANTINVS P F AVG]; bust r., laur., cuir.

REVERSE

SOLIINVI-C-TOCOMITI [SOLI INVICTO COMITI]; Sol advanced l., r. foot on captive std. to l., chlamys over l. shoulder and flying, r. raised, l. holding up globe. PT in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED REVERSE. Reverse type with Sol advancing l. and captive is not attested for Ticinum in RIC VI. However, Bruun in RIC VII mentions on p. 355 rare reverse of Sol, "Sol advancing l., captive", which in his opinion belongs "to the earlier part of the PT issue, i.e. to the time before the war against Daza" (i.e. to the coinage covered by RIC VI). Listed in Saint-Colombier-en-Sarzeau Hoard (p. 101, no. 2135). Coin should be listed after TICINUM 129.
