GENIOCA-ESARIS [GENIO CAESARIS]; Genius stg. l., modius on head (sometimes also radiate), naked but for chlamys over l. shoulder, r. holding patera (from which liquor flows), l. cornucopiae. Δ in right field. SMTS in exergue.

MINTMARK VARIETY. Specimen similar to THESSALONICA 32a except for absence of star in left field. Note that star is sometimes very small. Probably an engraver's error or a clogged die.
