OBVERSE	GALVALMAXIMIANVSNOBC [GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS NOB C]; bust r., laur., in imperial mantle, r. holding eagle-tipped sceptre.
REVERSE	VI-CT-OR-IA-PERSICA [VICTORIA PERSICA]; prince, crowned by Victory, r. holding spear, cloak flying, galloping r. over three figures in Phrygian caps; to r., two suppliants, also in Phrygian caps. *SIS in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	UNLISTED ISSUE. Æ medallion not attested in RIC. Minted probably in 298 after campaign against Persia and therefore belongs to the Group I. Should be listed after SISCIA 98b.
