VI-R-T-VSAV-GG [VIRTVS AVGG]; Emperor galloping r., spearing fallen enemy.

UNLISTED ISSUE. Specimen probably belongs to the group of rare unmarked fractions from c. 293-295 (p. 355-357), or to the later group from c. 305 (p. 365-366). In both cases the reader should keep in mind that "the dating and even the attribution of these very rare coins is problematical" (footnote 2 on p. 356) and that all these fractions are "very badly documented" (p. 337). Listed in King (p. 423, no. 8). Coin should be listed after SISCIA 94.
