UNLISTED ISSUE. Specimen similar to SISCIA 5 (Bertolami Fine Arts 109, lot 645, 4.82 g, 18 mm) except for eagle on rev. Note, however, that the style is rather different so attribution of mint is highly uncertain (could be some Eastern mint). But cf. also SISCIA 15 with more similar style of obv. Coin could be listed after SISCIA 5.

NOTES

Aureus. Weight 5.56 g; diameter 19 mm. Coin sold on Münzen & Medaillen auction 51 (lot 1060) in December 2024 for EUR 2,400.
