UNLISTED BUST TYPE. RIC lists for this issue two bust types. Bust r., diad, dr., on crescent, with drapery sometimes embroidered (see example of SISCIA 210) and bust r., diad., sometimes wearing necklace, with facing dr. bust on crescent (see example of SISCIA 204/211). Diadem is usually of the form of tiara (stephane)
The coin in question has a quite different bust type. Note type of diadem (decorated band) and exceptionally embroidered robe (see details). There is also probably no crescent. It could be an occasional engraver's invention or an ancient imitation (note rather small weight; 7.0-6.0 g expected). See also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 479-480. Coin should be listed after SISCIA 211.
