NOT IN RIC
|
UNLISTED OFFICINA - P. RIC lists for ROMA 213 only officina S (p. 378). Listed in Drost (p. 310, no. 92); also only officina S attested.
Additionally, this coin may be regarded as a new separate variety because the description of rev. does not match the description in RIC (and may be disputable). Note, however, that RIC attributes as ROMA 213 coins with few different reverses. See fotnote 6 on p. 378 and compare example of ROMA 213 cited in RIC (BM 1909,0901.152, 6.36 g; shown in Drost on plate 33, no. 92a/1); with Roma seated l. on shield giving globe without Victory, empty pediment etc.
