RIC VI, ROMA 151, CONSTANTINE, [CORRECTION]

OBVERSE

CONSTANT-INVSNOBC [CONSTANTINVS NOB C]; head r., laur.

REVERSE

PRINCIPI-IVVENTVT [PRINCIPI IVVENTVT]; prince stg. l., in military dress, r. holding ensign, l. leaning on sceptre. PR in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

[CORRECTION]. RIC lists for this type only one rev. legend break: I-I but note that so far four different rev. legend breaks are attested: I-I, I-PI-I-V, I-PI-I and I-P-I, which could make in RIC four separate entries (cf. RIC VI TREVERI 802 and 807 or SISCIA 61 and SISCIA 62). However, RIC is not consistent in this matter (cf. ROMA 150 with four different rev. legend breaks listed under one number).

Listed in Depeyrot (p. 86, no. 14/12). Listed in Drost (p. 300, no. 23).
