OBVERSE

DIOCLETIA-NVSPFAVG [DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir., seen from rear.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED ISSUE. Many types with m.m. PR are omitted in RIC V/2 and RIC VI. There is a very slight possibility that some of them were minted after Reform. Also, others were added here for comparison. Cf. RIC V/2 146 (different bust type and rev. legend: FVLGVRATORI, probably in error).

Note that so far two different rev. legend breaks are attested: L-GE-RAT-O and V-LGERAT-O, which could make in RIC two separate entries (cf. TREVERI 802 and 807 or SISCIA 61 and SISCIA 62). Also, two different obv. legend breaks: I-A and A-N.

Listed in Depeyrot (p. 81, no. 5A/1; obv. legend break A-N; rev. breaks L-GE-RAT-O). Coin could be listed in RIC before ROMA 5a.
