RIC VI, ROMA [after 40b], MAXIMIAN HERCULIUS, REVERSE LEGEND VARIETY, OFFICINA A

OBVERSE

MAXIMI-ANVSAVG [MAXIMIANVS AVG]; head r., laur.

REVERSE

VIRTV-S-M-ILITVM [VIRTVS MILITVM]; the four princes sacrificing over tripod before gate in six-turreted enclosure. A in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

REVERSE LEGEND VARIETY. Coin similar to ROMA 40b except for rev. legend breaks: VIRTV-S-M-ILITVM instead of VIRTVS-MILITVM. Note that for silver coins different legend break usually makes a separate entry (cf. RIC VI SISCIA 34a-38b). However, there are sometimes inconsistencies in RIC (cf. ROMA 37b or footnote 2 on p. 354 to ROMA 42a: "Specimen of off. Γ at Vienna with Virtu-s-Militum"). Anyway, coin could be listed after ROMA 40a.
