UNLISTED BUST TYPE - D. Not attested for this type of rev. Note that this rev. may be confused with rev. of ROMA 307-309 (see example of ROMA 307; Wien RÖ 73041, 4.02 g, 23 mm) on which Mars is also stg. r., but looking r. and has right hand leaning on sceptre, left hand on shield. It also may be regarded as an engraver's error: a mirror image of rev. on ROMA 305-306b. However, all these varieties of Marti Conservatori (ROMA 305-310) need precise description. Coin should be listed before ROMA 310.
