RIC VI, LUGDUNUM 108b, MAXIMIAN HERCULIUS, REVERSE LEGEND VARIETY, ENGRAVER'S ERROR

OBVERSE	IMPMAXIMIANVS•AVG [IMP MAXIMIANVS • AVG]; bust r., laur., cuir.
REVERSE	GEIIIGPGP-VLIROIMANI [GEIIIG PGPVLI ROIMANI (sic!)]; Genius stg. l., modius on head, naked but for chlamys over l. shoulder, r. holding patera, l. cornucopiae. Altar in left field, B in right field. PLC in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	REVERSE LEGEND VARIETY. Specimen similar to LUGDUNUM 108b. Obv. seems to be normal and official, but something went wrong with the rev. legend which looks like it was made by illiterate person. Coin may be regarded as an ancient imitation.
