UNLISTED BUST TYPE. Not attested for obv. legend 3a (p 246). Could be confused with bust type D (LUGDUNUM 56) described as "laur., cuir., r. holding spear, shield on l. arm". Should be rather "with spear pointing forward". Cf. example of LUGDUNUM 56 cited in RIC (BM B.1032, 9.63 g). Listed in Bastien Lyon - supplément I (p. 41, no. 39α). Should be listed in RIC after LUGDUNUM 55.
