GENIO-POPROM [GENIO POP ROM]; Genius stg. l., head towered, loins draped, r. holding patera, l. cornucopiae; altar to l. CI in left field, H over S in right field. PLC in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE - D. Similar to bust type A (LUGDUNUM 289) except for presence of cuirass. See also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, BUST TYPES SEEN FROM REAR. Listed in Bastien Lyon (294-316) (p. 243, no. 509 = LUGDUNUM 287 i 289; Bastien lists together Genius with modius and Genius towered) with bust A*2. Note, however, that according to Bastien's typology bust seen from rear is always draped and cuirassed. Coin should be listed in RIC after LUGDUNUM 291 or as LUGDUNUM 289 [CORRECTION].
