UNLISTED BUST TYPE - A. Not attested for obv. legend 4a (p. 261). The presence of Maxentius probably shows a short-lived turn in Constamntine's politics. Cf. also LUGDUNUM 256 (Wien RÖ 25446, 5.64 g, 28 mm) and LUGDUNUM 274 (Paris AF 8990, 6.94 g).
Listed in Bastien Lyon (294-316) (p. 236, no. 472); but note that Bastien does not distinguish between Genius with modius and Genius towered. Listed in Drost (p. 341, no. 1). Should be listed in RIC before LUGDUNUM 256.
